Be our new Account Manager! We’re looking for a new team member to help manage a book of business and provide the PLATFORM experience to our clients.

Job description

  • 90 days before renewal, request from client updated schedules and MTO reports as appropriate
  • Review Finance Contracts and Invoices prepared by Associate
  • Prepare and send out the following within 5 days of bind order from the client:
    • Statement of Values
    • Invoices (Prepared by Associate)
    • Binder of Insurance as per quotes bound
    • Insurance Program Renewal Letters
    • Finance Contract (Prepared by Associate)
  • Abeyance file to follow up for policy documents within 30 days of inception
  • Review and deliver Policy Documents within 60 days of the effective date – request changes from insurers as necessary
  • Request mid-term policy changes (endorsements) from insurance companies
  • Follow up/review policy endorsement documents
    • Review invoicing done by Associate
  • Send endorsement invoices and documents to client within 3 days of receipt
  • Assist, review and sign certificates of insurance issued by Associate
  • Assist Senior Account Manager with the preliminary tender bid specification review
    • Review should include whether a certificate and/or insurance letter is required for the bid
    • Review and approve certificates and insurance letters issued by the Associate as per the bid specification
    • Advise Senior Account Manager when preliminary review is complete
  • Assist Senior Account Manager with the marketing of certain files assigned to them
  • Assist Senior Account Manager to ensure all policies are bound as per expiration report
  • Assist with day to day tasks as assigned by the Senior Account Manager
  • Assist Senior Account Manager by preparing Surety Bonds for review
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to PLATFORM clients
  • 2-3 years Commercial Insurance Account Managing Experience
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
  • RIBO License is Mandatory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
